Åsundsholm
In 2001, Åsundsholm was acquired by the Gunnardo family. They continued to welcome conference guests and host confirmation and scout camps, as well as weddings and events.
In 2003, the Gunnardo family, together with a group of dedicated enthusiasts, began planning the construction of a golf course. Twelve holes opened in 2007, followed by an additional six holes in 2013.
Today, the course is a par 72, measuring between 4,100 and 5,785 metres. The course was designed by Henrik Wissinger and features a modern layout with high-quality USGA greens. Both the course and the facilities have received excellent reviews in Swedish golf media and are highly regarded within the Västra Götaland region.
In March 2021, the Gunnardo family sold the business to the newly formed company Åsundsholm Herrgård AB, which consists of around 70 shareholders, including both private individuals and companies.
Åsundsholm Herrgård AB and Åsundsholm Golf Club jointly form and operate Åsundsholm Golf & Country Club.
